OnePlus 8 Display
OnePlus 8 features a 6.55-inch Full-HD+ Fluid AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 180Hz touch sampling rate. This new panel of one plus 8 supports 1080 x 2400 resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, HDR 10+ playback, up to 1100 nits of peak brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection.
The display here produces only minor upgrades over the 90Hz panel seen on last year’s OnePlus 7T. It has dual-curved edges and a punch-hole cutout selfie camera, which has the 16MP selfie shooter, that is changed this time around. It’s stylish and premium – in line with what OnePlus promises.
OnePlus 8 Hardware
OnePlus 8 comes with the flagship Snapdragon 865 chipset from Qualcomm. It comes equipped with the Snapdragon X55 modem onboard for 5G connectivity and supports both SA/NSA 5G modes. The chipset is coupled with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.0 storage. Oneplus also comes with its Turbo White and Host Performance Booster (HPB) technology.
