Android Q finally released its first early update with some latest feature in android like dark mode, desktop mode etc.
- Android Q enables dark mode.
- Lot of Permissions Revamp.
- A desktop mode like Samsung – DeX.
- Developer options are more than previous.
XDA Developer always stays one step forward because Android Q comes with its early build XDA Developers, who lost no time and installed it on a Google Pixel 3 XL. They found very interesting updates like dark mode on one switch of flicks.
Unlike the Pixel-exclusive Device Theme (shown in the image above), this is a full dark theme for everything: Settings, Launcher, Launcher settings, Files app, volume panel, Quick Settings panel, and notifications all turn either dark grey or full black. What’s more, in Android Q, you can either permanently enable the dark theme or have it automatically turn on at certain times during the day. Rumour also says that Android Q can come with Google Pixel 3 LTE.
Check out some Android Q UI screenshots.
Here are some changes in Settings, Launcher settings, Files app, volume panel, Launcher, Quick Settings panel, and notifications which can apply either dark grey or full black. You enable the dark theme or have it automatically turn on at certain times during the day.
There’s also something related to as “Desktop Mode,” which could be a point similar to something the Samsung DeX happens, i.e. a way to secure your Android device to a small screen and use it like you would a desktop computer. Other than the developer toggle variety, though, the team couldn’t find any other info on this feature.
Some changes also come in privacy mode and it will be higher as compare to Android P. Do watch XDA Developer youtube video for more enquiry.
